Dr. Barbara J. Justice, Board Certified Forensic Psychiatrist,  began her career in medicine as a surgeon in New York City in 1982.  After several years as a practicing surgeon, she decided to enter the field of Forensic Psychiatry.  She received training in all aspects of psychiatry as well as the law, during her Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at UCLA.

Dr. Justice has broad experience testifying in criminal and civil cases and has been deposed extensively, more than 300 times. She has also testified frequently as mental health expert witness for the State of California. Her unique background in physical medicine, trauma, psychopharmacology and surgery, combined with her psychiatric expertise, gives her an in-depth understanding of the multitude of factors at issue in civil litigation cases.

Dr. Justice is currently Attending Forensic Psychiatrist and Director of Psychiatric Training at the Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk California and a Psychiatrist at the Psychopharmacology Center for Behavioral Medicine in Whittier, California.

Dr. Justice received her Medical Doctorate and completed her Surgical Internship and Residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, Department of Surgery, College of Physicians & Surgeons, Columbia University, Harlem, where she was appointed Chief Resident. She returned to the same school to intern in adult psychiatry. Dr. Justice earned fellowships for Cultural Research in Psychiatry from the American Psychiatric Association, in Psychodynamic and Psychotherapy from New York University Psychodynamic Institute and in Forensic Psychiatry from the Department of Psychiatry at UCLA

Dr. Pamela Hall is a licensed psychologist who has been a psychotherapist and psychodiagnostic evaluator for over 30 years. Dr. Hall has provided Cognitive and Competency evaluations for individuals with head injuries such as TBI and stroke, and progressive cognitive disorders, such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease. Assisting them and their impacted loved ones, since 1984, Dr. Hall has vast experience working with individuals affected by traumatic circumstances such as combat exposure, sexual assault, criminal assault and childhood trauma.  Dr. Hall also has specialized training and experience working with situations particular to the workplace environment, such as relationship conflict in the workplace, stress management, and vocational feasibility following psychiatric and/or physical injury. She has completed specialized postdoctoral training at St. John’s University, Queens, NY, Forensic Psychiatry, Foundational and Criminal Certificates.

Dr. Hall has been a requested trainer for multiple employee assistance programs. Her compassion for the effect of psychiatric and physical injury on an individual’s well-being provides the impetus and motivation for her current focus as a disability evaluator for veterans and disabled workers.

Dr. Hall’s clinical acumen, broad ranging expertise, emphasis on effective treatment, and enduring empathy for affected individuals are invaluable contributors to clarity and fairness in the medical-legal evaluation process.

Linscott is a clinical psychologist specializing in criminal and immigration proceedings.   She holds master’s degrees in both psychology and theology and was awarded her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA in 2010.  She is bilingual in English and Spanish and provides expert witness testimony for the Federal Immigration Court.

Dr. Linscott also maintains a private forensic psychology practice, conducts psychological assessments and neuropsychological screenings.  For seven years, she served as a staff psychologist at the Patton State Hospital in Patton, California, where she provided forensic assessments of the prisoner population with regard to issues such as suicide and violence risks, competency to stand trial and readiness for discharge. She also testified regarding her findings as an expert witness in California Superior Court.

Dr. Linscott has held teaching positions at Azusa Pacific University, Christian Community College, and The Fuller Graduate School of Psychology.  Her areas of research include childhood sexual abuse, stress, trauma, spirituality amongst urban workers, as well as PTSD caused by post-war community violence in El Salvador.  She has presented papers at the Annual Meeting of the European Congress of Psychology in Prague, Czech Republic.
