Dr. Karen Kim Quirk, M.D. is board certified in General and Vascular Surgery. She earned her under graduate degree from University of California at Berkley in 1998, where she was awarded a UC Regents Scholarship. Dr. Quirk earned her medical degree from the University of California at Irvine, School of Medicine in 2006.

Dr. Quirk completed her General Surgery Residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center and fellowship in Vascular Surgery at University of California at San Diego.

Dr. Quirk is a clinical assistant professor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Western University of Health Sciences and an attending staff at Community Memorial Hospital. She has presented clinical papers at several meetings of the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery and the Western Vascular Society. She has also authored or co-authored more than fifteen research papers and abstracts.

He received his under graduate degree from Princeton University and his Medical Degree from Boston University, School of Medicine. He served his Residency at Wayne State University Affiliated Hospitals and was a Follow, Infectious Disease at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Marzouk is also recognized as a HIV Specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.

He has held the positions as Chief, Division of Infectious Diseases, Director, Adult Immunology Clinic, Medical Director, Infection Prevention and Control and Chief, Infectious Disease Service. He is affiliated with Summit Medical Center in Oakland, California, Alameda Hospital and San Ramon Regional Medical Center and is an Expert Medical Reviewer for the Medical Board of California.

Dr. Marzouk has made numerous presentations and lectures to both medical and non-medical audiences on various Infectious Disease topics. The Antimicrobial Utilization Service under his directorship was honored by the American College of Physician Executives as an “Innovation and significant advance in medical management”.
